LEJOG

A short day and thus a surprisingly early blog post!
Inverness was overcast and breezy, a bit depressing.  So: straight up and over the Kessock suspension bridge (over the Beuly Firth), some climbing through the Black Isle to the lower Cromorty Firth Bridge and a nice ride along the estuary cruising at 20+ mph with a tale wind. (One more firth to cross tomorrow).
Short climb to Geanies House, nay, Mansion. Chris was shown to his wing and Simon to his!
Short rest then a chance to visit around Christian Focus and have dinner with Willie MacKenzie and family.
Saw lots of Red Kytes today to add to the Buzzard and Owl of the other day. Looking out for Highland Cattle and trying to work out what the mouse like creature with a bushy slightly colourful tail it (no, not a squirrel).
Big day tomorrow - 80 miles over the hills to Wick.

The end is in sight - well done!
One of my colleagues innocently asked 'Are they cycling back again..?'
